Imagine.
On my way home today on the bus we hit a traffic jam. From experience I knew how long that can last and had almost resigned to be on the bus for at least an hour. 
But then the busdriver turned to us, it was only one more passenger on the bus and I, and asked us if we both wanted to go straight to the city centre. When we both confirmed, the busdriver did a full u-turn, which was a bit puzzeling at the beginning I have to say, and ventured to take the parallel road into town that was free, basically abandoning his usual route and the usual bustops.
This alternative route was much quicker of course and 10 mins later we were in town. Amazing!
A bus-driver with initiative. Absolutely brilliant.
